Crazy Wild Twisted Treats

Sometimes there’s nothing better than a classic chocolate chip cookie enjoyed with a glass of ice cold milk, while other times call for something fun and exciting, maybe even wild, crazy, and a little twisted.  It’s been one of those kind of weeks with soccer tournaments, spring break, grandparents, and Easter, so I thought it only fitting to share desserts of the same nature. I’ve got something for every occasion, so if you are in the mood for a spectacular show stopping dessert or a sweet little snack, I’ve got you covered. When you are looking for a fabulous dessert that’s sure to impress you can’t go wrong with magnificent confections like this Orange Creme Cake. And let’s not forget these Twinkie Cupcakes, that can’t be beat! There’s nothing better than a good brownie and twisting favorite candies and cookies into brownies brings a little extra flair to all that chocolatey goodness. Whether you favor Tagalong Girl Scout Cookies, Twix candy bars, or even Mocha Coconut Cream Frappucchinos, there’s a brownie perfect for you, and let’s not forget my favorite, Double Stuff Brownies!

If brownies aren’t quite your style, what about popcorn? I’m nutty for popcorn and this Peanut Butter Cup Popcorn is out of this world! Fudge never disappoints, and neither does this 3-ingredient Fluffer Nutter Fudge or this Butterfinger Fudge. Maybe you’re looking for pint size treats. If so, you might enjoy Cake Batter Dipped Pretzels, Cinnamon Bun Chex Mix, or even Birthday Cake Peanut Butter Cups.

And when you are looking for ways to beat this summer heat, these No Bake Monster Cookie Granola Bars are easy to grab on the run and I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t scream for ice cream (how does Cake Batter or Oatmeal Cream Pie Gelato sound? And just in case you aren’t in the mood for something sweet, there’s always dishes like this Buffalo Wing Lasagna to bring a little of that twisted fun to the dinner table.

After all these crazy wild twisted treats, are you ready to try something crazy and twisted or do you still want that plain chocolate chip cookie?

Speaking of cookies, I’ve been wanting to introduce you to my friend Cindy, from Cindy’s Cozy Kitchen. I bumped into her in the blogging world and we’ve since become buddies.  One day I received an unexpected package in the mail. You’ll never guess what it contained. Cookies, but not just any cookies, these beautiful (and delicious) cookies!

Cindy's Cookies
They came with a note saying that I had been RACKED  (Random Act of Cookie Kindness) because Cindy’s enjoyed JCD so much.  Let me tell you, she made my day, well more than that actually, it’s a kindness I won’t soon forget. And I’ve got to tell you that Cindy is pretty fabulous in her own right. You can check out her blog here and you can find her on Facebook too. If you get a chance, would you wander over and giver her a little love. I’d love to pay it forward with a little random kindness of my own, will you please help me by creating a little action on that Facebook page of hers? I knew you’d understand. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
