If you have ever been to Disneyland, then you know just how amazing the Cheddar Garlic Bagel Twists from Maurice’s Treats are! There are so many fabulous eats inside the park and these quickly became one of my family’s favorite park treats one afternoon when we stumbled on them. They are magical – that is if you love soft carbs loaded with cheese, and hints of garlic and other seasonings common to the infamous “everything” bagels purchased in bakeries. Those bagel twists are what this Cheesy Pull Apart Everything Bread is fashioned after. While it may not actually take us back to the magical park, it definitely brings some very precious memories, and tastes 🙂 to mind. You are going to need to give this a try and let me know what you think. We love it!
Cheesy Pull Apart Everything Bread
This pull apart bread comes together in a snap because it uses my favorite Rhode’s frozen dinner rolls. Just like my favorite Parmesan Pretzel Bites, which are perfect for this time of year because April 26th is National Pretzel Day.

- 16 Rhodes frozen dinner rolls
- 1/8 cup sesame seeds
- 1/8 cup poppy seeds
- 1 ½ Tablespoons dried onion flakes
- 1 ½ Tablespoons dried garlic flakes
- ½ Tablespoon Kosher salt
- 3 Tablespoons butter
- 1 cup shredded cheese or 8 thin slices of cheddar cut into half
-
Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Place frozen rolls on top of baking sheet taking care to space them out equally. Spray plastic wrap with cooking spray and lightly cover rolls with it. Set rolls in a warm place and thaw as directed on package.
-
When dough has thawed and doubled in size stir together sesame seeds, poppy seeds, onion flakes, garlic flakes, and salt. Melt 3 Tablespoons of butter in the microwave using 15 second intervals, stirring between each interval. Set aside.
-
On a lightly floured surface, roll or pat each roll into 4-inch circles. Use a pastry brush to brush the top of each roll with a little of the melted butter. You can also use a spoon to pour a little butter over the top and the back of it to spread the butter around if you don’t have a pastry brush. Sprinkle each roll with a little of the seasoning mixture. Sprinkle with a little cheese. Fold the circle in half so it looks like a taco and place it in a greased 9x5-inch bread pan. Repeat with the remaining 15 rolls, stacking each folded ‘taco’ next to each other. Sprinkle with a little extra seasoning and drizzle a little butter over the top of the rolls. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let sit in a warm place until doubled, 20-30 minutes.
-
While waiting for the dough to rise preheat oven to 375 degrees. When the bread has doubled bake it for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden and when pressed gently, the top springs back. Carefully brush the top with a little more butter, as much or little as you’d like. Run a knife around the edges of the pan to loosen the bread and turn out onto a serving platter. Serve and enjoy!
